During 2009, anyone who visits on their birthday gets free admission to any Disney World or Disneyland theme park. You must have a valid ID showing your birth date. Even those who already have a multi-day ticket or annual pass can still get a birthday present, such as a special birthday FASTPASS.
In-Room Surprise Decor
An amazing splurge is to get an in-room birthday decor package. While the birthday boy, girl, man or woman is out celebrating and park-hopping, Disney World can arrange to have the room decorated for the celebration featuring gifts from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Goofy and Donald, as well as a cake from Minnie. The evening special ticketed events, such as Princess and Pirate Parties or Mickey's Halloween Party, can be a great festivity for a birthday boy or girl. There are also many tours and ticketed special activities that can be a fun way to celebrate a birthday.

You can also purchase Disney gift cards that work throughout the parks and let the birthday kid or adult go on a fun shopping spree. Keep in mind when setting a price that things are more expensive there than at your local discount store, but there are also some very interesting gifts and buys that you will hardly see anywhere else. There are shops in every park or hit the shopping area at Downtown Disney.
